Moving and Storage

The demands on a moving and delivery industry are often underestimated.  Each move has its own set of demands and each truck body needs to accommodate your customer’s furniture and household goods.  The primary design for a moving van body is accessibility and ease.  It needs to be easy to load and unload and organize and arrange, without obstacles, for optimum loading and maximizing each load.  Efficient loading and maximizing your loads allows for increased productivity, minimizing damage, and an increase in fuel economy.

Our diverse line of moving and storage bodies is customizable and built with durability, longevity, and safety at the front of all construction.   Since the foundation of your body is so critical, we utilize stronger and superior 4” cross members even though the industry standard is 3”.  Alfred bodies are created for enduring strength; as rivet spacing is on 2” centers.  With our in-house engineering department and design team, we have the capability to create exactly what you want, regardless of the complexity of your design.

Our moving and storage bodies are designed to be mounted to your choice of truck chassis.  These bodies are ideal for the use in both commercial and residential moves and are highly-customizable to meet your specific wants and needs.
